The following Shutterfly Upload problems have been reported:
- Symptom:
- Error dialog with
NSError Line 1: Document is empty … (Mac)
or
An internal error has occurred: Invalid at the top level of the document. (Windows)
is displayed.
- When it occurs:
- Most likely during login with Shutterfly, but it could happen during export, too.
- Possible cause:
- Your computer’s date and/or time are not set correctly.
- Work-around:
- Set your computer’s date and time to be within 15 minutes of the correct time.
- Symptom:
- Error dialog with
Problem connecting to https://ws.shutterfly.com
bad urlis displayed. A log file capturing the problem will show a “nil” password being passed during the log in process.
- Platform:
- Mac.
- When it occurs:
- After pressing the plug-in’s “Log In” button.
- Possible cause:
- After entering your password, you immediately clicked on the “Log In” button.
- Work-around:
- After entering your password, use the “Tab” key to exit the field, or press the “Export” button without logging in first.
